I am not a professional hiker but my dad and I hike pretty often, regular hikes and backpacking trips . Even though I love the good old outdoors lol I do NOT love the thought of bugs around my no no parts 😂 so I was always very cautious to pee outside or would hold as long as could but with 3 kids and getting older I just can’t hold it like that any more lol. So finding these was God sent!!! The most comfortable pair of pants I’ve ever hiked in! They are breathable, flexible, comfortable and plenty of pockets. Being short (4’10”) I was worried about how would fit but with the bottoms being able to tighten and the waist being able to tie they fit pretty good! I truly love these !! Wish the black was a darker black but they are perfect

Ok, so I’ve been watching this company for at least over a year now curious about these pants, but didn’t want to spend the money on a chance. I snagged a pair on Black Friday for $70, and holy crow… I will be buying more!

The quality and comfort is SO much better than I expected - I feel like I’m wearing an expensive pair of riding breeches and that zipper is seriously a game changer. I wish I had them all summer when I was out in the woods/fishing near people and had to hike even further than the boys for privacy, or even times on the skiff in Alaska when it was 40F and had to make the boys go to the bow and turn around while I dangle my entire naked bum off the boat (probably TMI, but I know I’m not the only one who has been there). Now, I thought this would be only for the summer (long underwear complicates things) BUT THEY MAKE LEGGINGS ALSO!!! Even in the dead of winter where I’ll be no where near people so privacy isn’t an issue, my bum and thighs can stay toasty in the woods or on the water while I take care of business - ladies we don’t have to suffer anymore!

Do yourselves a favor and up your outdoor gear game! 10/10 recommend and I look forward to more designs from them!

*UPDATE - I’ve now hiked with them multiple times, and YES!!! They are AMAZING!! Holy crow - I didn’t even realize how much time I would waste outdoors prepping to go to the bathroom - emptying my pockets so my phone doesn’t fall out into the puddle, searching for the right spot so I don’t fall or pee on my pants, etc, and now just one zip, squat, rezip, back in action in less than a minute!!! Omg Gnara PLEASE make overalls and thermal layers! Y’all rock!

These pants are beautiful. The fabric is heavy enough to protect on the trail but lightweight and stretchy. Construction is gorgeous and design is well thought out. Sizing for me: according to size chart I'm a 6, so I got that but an 8 would have been better. I'm actually between a6 and 8 in many brands. I should have sized up to an 8 and I recommend that. I'm 5'6". 145 lbs, small waist, round hips, muscle thighs. I'm going to excange for eight because these pants are beautiful. I got black, might go for a color. Oh, pee zipper function is very good!!

As a husband admiring my wife in these pants, I would absolutely recommend! The fit is perfect, the function is innovative, and they making hiking so much more adventurous! I’ve already gotten three pairs and I may end up with one on every color at this rate. I can’t say enough about Gnara customer service. They’ve been quick to respond to all my inquiries and have been so helpful. I wish all small companies operated like them. You’re gonna go far, kid!!!
