Go There™ Pants - now PFAS free!

Absolutely love these pants. I have worn them for a couple years while trad climbing. I literally tell everyone (even men, because they have wives, sisters, moms and daughters!) about them when I wear them (or anytime it's remotely relevant) because they've been so helpful for me.

Sadly two pairs I own don't fit me anymore as I have lost some weight. When I went to replace them I saw they only were offering black and dark green. I figured they were just sold out of the other colors and bought one pair. I would check back constantly to see if the other colors were available but none ever were. I also noticed that the shorts were not available on their site.

Of course I follow Gnara on Instagram so when I kept seeing the rainbow of colors advertised I messaged and asked when they would have the rest of the colors available. They told me they are not legally allowed to sell them in CA and NY and suggested to use an incognito browser and ship them to another state to get other colors. I also don't have an address in another state to send these to and you actually have to use a VPN, not incognito for this to work. I don't think this is the best strategy to ask clients to use especially since California is 10% of the US population and I'm sure represents an oversized portion of the population of outdoor rock climbing folks.

The Gnara fabric is thicker than a lot of hiking/climbing pants so only offering these in dark colors and not offering the shorts makes it hard to want to wear these in the summer.

All this to say would LOVE it if Gnara worked on getting lighter colors available in non-PFAS fabrics so they can be sold in every state. Please! 🙏

I was a little hesitant to place an on-line order for pants since I have had problems with the sizing of other companies' pants.

HOWEVER, my Gnara pants are spot-on and my size 12 pants fit perfectly. I love the pant material because it is sturdy but soft. And the amount of pockets is wonderful. I haven't had a chance to use them outdoors yet, but practicing with the hidden zipper at home makes me very confident that they will work as designed on a hiking trail.

I bought a pair of the Go There pants a couple of months ago, and I love them. I am a hiking guide, and I am hiking every week, and often need to use the "green latrine" outdoors. These pants make it so easy to pee in the wild without exposing myself. They're also great hiking pants regardless of that - they are a great material, and they fit perfectly! I got a size 2, and I am 5'4" 130lbs. I just got the shorts as well, and love those too!

Got these pants to try while climbing and hiking. Convenient as it is to expose less while peeing, the legs are so short that they don’t touch the top of my boots. Hiking in Tick country, it’s nice to have pants go to your feet.
The waist is so high and wide on me that I am forced to use the shoelace drawstring to keep the pants on. Sizing down would make the pants shorter and thighs tighter. If the waist falls down at all, the zipper rubs between the thighs.
If the pants were cut a bit longer in the legs, or at least offered that way, and the waist cut to fit someone without a huge waist… then they’d be more comfortable.

Both back pockets have torn off from sitting on rocks and regular wear.
