I found a pair of gnara pants used at my local gear store and picked them up thinking they were cool. They’re my absolute favorite pants now, especially for rock climbing. Stretchy, comfy, and durable, they’re just as good for groveling up the famously sharp Vedauwoo chimneys and off widths as they are for going to dinner. The pockets give you lots of options and zippers, so you won’t have to worry about your phone falling in a pit toilet.

And, of course, the zipper is awesome. I often hesitate to use it because I don’t want to, ya know, miss, but it’s great for climbing since I can keep my harness on to go. My pants truly shined this weekend when I was on an alpine route for a solid 12 hours. Instead of having to shimmy my pants down while trying to keep the harness up, I could just unzip and go, saving precious minutes and so much stress and exposure on the crowded route. Did some long circuit hiking this weekend at least 7 miles per hike and I could easily handle when nature called! The zip is insanely easy, still able to wear undies. Can pee in the woods with dignity, and not mooning the world!

I have been looking at buying these pants for years and kept putting it off because of the price but let me tell you they are worth every penny! They would easily be my favorite pair of pants even if they didn’t have the super cool zipper. Peeing outdoors can be difficult when there’s not much cover and you have to take your pants down but this makes it so discreet and easy. I’ve tried other women’s products for peeing outside like the funnel and they always get messy and are a bit gimmicky but this WORKS! Their size guide is also accurate and will help you find the perfect size. I feel like every outdoorsy woman needs a pair of these they are amazing!

Bought these pants before a hiking trip in Norway…wasn’t sure how they would work. And, I love them!! Look nice enough for exploring towns, flexible and comfortable on trail. They are a little heavier weight which worked great for the cooler weather I had, but I would not wear them on a hot day back at home. (Can you make a lighter weight version??)
The zipper is awesome! Works smoothly and easily. So much so I use it even when inside!

I don't think I can go back to regular hiking pants now. I want to buy a pair in every color. Could not recommend enough. I'm 5'1 130 lbs with muscular thighs, I thought size 4 might be a little loose based on the measurements but they fit snug/just right. Dropping that here for sizing info in case it helps anyone else!
