I own these in all 3 colors, I do everything in them (airplane travel, rock climb, festivals, errands around town, etc.), and my life is infinitely better for the 11 pockets, easy GoFly pee zipper, and stretchy adjustable straps. The fact that I get compliments any day I wear these is the cherry on top. Gnara and LIVSN -- y'all nailed it. Long live this collab!!
I love these overalls. The size chart was spot on. They feel snug at first but aren’t-they are sized just correctly. I hike and work in an art shop. These ‘alls work so well for both busy activities. The zipper is just right, too. I have other crotch zipper clothing but the zips aren’t as easy as Gnaras. I simply love this clothing.
The material feels really nice, feels like a good quality material and it stretches well when I move. Was worried about the zipper getting stuck on *things* when going commmando, but it zipped up really smoothly no issues! Also surprisingly the right length even for my short little legs
These are SO FUN and so cozy. It's very clear that lots of thought went into each aspect of their design. Highlights for me:
1. The mesh lining/pockets
2. The sheer number of pockets and how many of them zip (and how HUGE they are! See photo for the depth of the pockets on the front side of my legs)
3. The pass-through pocket on the chest is great for stashing gloves, etc.
4. The GoFly zipper (more below)
5. The stretchy straps
6. The jogger cuff option
7. The overall fit
8. The mesh-backed pen slots
I love & support Gnara, and my chief complaint has been that if the pants ride down, the zipper sits uncomfortably between the thickest part of my thighs, and the drawstrings often don't quite hold the pants up well enough. That is SOLVED in these overalls! (Because the straps hold them up perfectly) And it's such a joy to wear them and pee in them.
Friends and family and I all agree that they seem like a good super warm spring skiing bib, but also they're great every day I've worn them around the house. The plum color is really fun and not too loud.
I was between sizes and went with what I suspected would fit (smaller option), and I have no regrets. Hip is 37.5", waist is 29", inseam to ground is 31", and the Women's 4x29 fits like a glove. If I win the lottery, I'm buying these for all my friends.
I got my Ecotrek Overalls just in time to try them on my last trail work day of the year. The fit was spot on. They have just enough stretch to let you move freely when you're working but not too much that you feel like they're delicate in trees and bushes. The pockets hold just enough of my things, and the overall design is excellent for working in and styling.
Most importantly, the zipperfly lets you pee in the woods without having to take everything off! It's sturdy, too, so I don't worry about them splitting and showing everyone my business. Big fan. Would recommend.
