I don't think I can go back to regular hiking pants now. I want to buy a pair in every color. Could not recommend enough. I'm 5'1 130 lbs with muscular thighs, I thought size 4 might be a little loose based on the measurements but they fit snug/just right. Dropping that here for sizing info in case it helps anyone else!

These pants are not only super convenient, but incredibly comfortable and durable! The material is soft and flexible, but can stand up to scrapes, sharp sticks, and rocks. I'm so delighted to finally own a pair and can't wait to try another version soon (shorts or leggings?!)

Alright, I'm a BIG fan girl for my go fly zipper, but this weekend I pushed my Gnara pants to new limits. While camping with cats in WI, my kitten got spooked and escaped his harness and collar and fled into a pretty dense forested area. The whole weekend we tried to lure him out, we even went in to find him only for him to flee even farther beyond reach. Yesterday morning I got dressed and ready for a rescue mission (assuming the harshest conditions). I tightened up the elastics on my pants knowing I would be in thick underbrush with lots of ticks and headed into the forest. I found my kitty and had to sit quietly on the forest floor to lure him to me with treats. Once he was close enough I snatched that boy and RAN back to the site as fast as I could to get him in his carrier, not even stopping to think about all of the obstacles and thorns I had carefully worked through on the way in. Once things calmed down I realized there's NOT A SCRATCH on my legs or torso, only the uncovered hands and face area. Beyond that, my Gnara gear had thorns and prickers in them that never touched me and also didn't even tear or rip the pants at all! I'm amazed once again at the sheer durability of the material. When we got home I spent hours carefully removing ticks from my kitty, but didn't find a single one on me. (And those suckers are TINY this time of year.) So I'm back again on Gnara's site for my favorite camping pants but not just for my usual pee-related admiration, but to brag about the high-quality outdoor gear in its own right!
For all my cat lovers out there - he's safely at home and cleared by the vet. But he's grounded for life.
